    Because of an error in the windows installation, all the microsoft applications are gone


    Recently I bought a second-hand laptop. A couple of days after, I tried to enter the Microsoft store to download an application I need for school, but the Microsoft store didn't open... So I tried many things but none worked. In the end, I decided to reinstalled windows, but in the middle of the installation, it had an error which I had to skip The error was: "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error". When the installation finished I saw that there were no Microsoft applications at all, no Microsoft store, no calculator, none. I don't know what to do, I've neve

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
