So, the chronology is that my old microsoft account has been hacked by someone. And I have created a new account, moreover I bought a new minecraft account on my latest microsoft account. I tried to login on the Xbox App using the new account, but I couldn't. The Xbox App keeps trying to get me to send a code to my old account that has been hacked by someone. If I press the back button, it will go back to the Xbox App and this will pop up again.What should I do? I just want my Xbox App to be reset so that the Xbox App doesn't recognize my old Microsoft account anymore

Hi Shawn, many thanks for the above. Let's see. The "Because you're accessing sensitive info"-popups tend to show up at random. Sometimes in Excel, sometimes in Outlook.

BTW...
On top I am a bit puzzled as to the 'wmic' listing, where I am displayed at the bottom, instead of at the top as administrator.
Whereas under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts I am listed at administrator.

Any idea?

I checked the event log.

FWIW it goes like this:

Entering my pw will temporarily solve this and it will stay away for a while, the next day it will pop up again, I am sure.

A few emails are open, when this occurs.
I can't close them, unless I enter my Microsoft password.

When doing a search on Internet, it seems that this "Because you're accessing sensitive info, you need to verify your password" seems to be a regular occurrence. It has also been discussed in the below thread.

In the 1st (administrator) group, name is blank, contrary to local account.

Frankly, I have no idea as to how to proceed from this point on.

p.s. Being uncertain about releasing SID numbers I changed them, just for safety sake.

BTW I see 'Xbox' stuff in the taskmanager and yourphone whatever.
Neither one I use.

How to get rid of them?
