Been dealing with 2 failures, Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered, and Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware. for a couple of months now and I cant seem to get it figured out. It happens mostly when gaming however is has happened a couple of times with Chrome and Discord. I have tried so many different solutions that are on all this and other forums along with multiple re-installations of windows 10.

Things i have tried...

• Using Command prompt to perform system scan/ health check and restore = No Change
• Uninstalling graphics card drivers in safe mode using DDU and installed most recent drivers as well as a couple of previous drivers = No Change
• Performing motherboard BIOS update = No Change
• Changing TdrDelay using Registry Editor = No Change
• Changed PSU = No Change
• Changed GPU 1050ti to 1660 Super and reinstalled drivers = No Change
• Multiple game reinstallations = No Change
• Put GPU in Second PCI-e Slot on motherboard = No Change
• Performed Memory Test which Passed
• Changed permissions for the APPID and CLSID Specified in failure = No Change
• Gave Immersive Shell Launch Permissions = No Change

A couple hours before making this post, I did another Fresh windows install and after booting up and jumping through the start up hoops I installed 2 apps STEAM and CIVILIZATION VI. After Launching Civ, I got to the main menu, launched one of the benchmark matches and crashed immediately after loading the match with the error "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated as I've been at my wits end trying to get to the bottom of this with absolutely no luck.

My current setup is

• Motherboard - MSI X570 Carbon Gaming Pro Wifi
• CPU - AMD Ryzen 3900X 12-core
• Memory - 16gb 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance 3200 RGB Black
• GPU - First was a MSI 1050ti. Currently installed is a Gigabyte 1660 Super
• OS - Windows 10
• Storage - 1tb NVME SSD
• PSU - First was an Apevia 800w non-modular. Currently installed is a Corsair 850w Gold+ Fully Modular.

hi every one im back with the same problem Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered error when i play wow. its happening a lot more now i have the newest drivers and my card gets up to 59c when i play. not Sher how to fix this any ideas?

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. i get this error when i play world of warcraft and the screen gos black and game crashes.plus in the windows experience index score both my video scores are 6.6 is that low for a evga gtx 285 in windows 7 64 bit rc ?

Hi

Few days ago i installed Vista Ultimate 32bit, Im using the Nvidia 8800GTX card with this 175.19_geforce_winvista_32bit driver. everything was working fine untill today when i got this message "Display Driver nvlddmkm Stopped Responding and Has Successfully Recovered".

This first happen when i was playing Crysis Warhead but i thought it was once of this. then it happen again and again in windows while checking mail.

I thought that it might have something to do with the Video Driver so i dloaded 177.83_geforce_winvista_32bit, but im still having the same problem.

PS. I've had Vista Ultimate before on this PC with same system spec, but now i just have a new Monitor and im thinking that it could be the problem?
New Monitor is Samsung 2493HM.

Any help would be great on how to correct this problem
