Windows 10: Been struggling for a week or so with this. How come when I add things to my D drive then...

I am able to download files to my D drive it seems but when I go to look to see how much space I have left it still shows 116g of 116g but there's files in the drive so shouldn't it be taking up space? I should be seeing the blue bar like I did with my C drive right? though the C is now red because there's no space lol. I also tried moving over my documents from my C drive to the D but it says access denied. Help with that would be appreciated as well. Thank you in advance!

D: drive

The error come's when I try to load a cd, the drive starts up as if to read the disk and then stops and puts the message up.

It is the cd drive the comes up on the file listing as my drive D

I'm using an Internal D drive and "Drive Removed" is not the actual error message but all I remember Is that it said something about SATA and it would make a thing run and show me a list of my drives and the one I'm Installing my games on or trying to
is gone. I tried restarting the computer and it comes back every time.
