Windows 10: Bernina v7 and x86... R6025

Good Morning, I am on the Windows 10 platform. I am using the Bernina v7 digitizing software. When I try to save an embroidery in the program to a usb drive I get the following error message.Program Files x86... R6025 - pure virtual function call. The Bernina program crashes and I can not save the file with a different format to the usb drive. Help please... Thank you

Hi,

The runtime error R6025 is normally caused by a programming error. To better understand your concern about
Windows 10, we'd like to know the following:

• If the update that you're referring to is a Windows Update.
• If you've recently installed a new patch for Paintshop Pro.
• If you're able to run the application in Compatibility mode. To do this, you can perform the steps posted on this

Bernina Embroidery Software

Before I upgraded from 8.1 to 10, I ran the "check your PC" item, which said all my "apps" were compatible. Unfortunately, my Bernina Embroidery V7 DOES NOT WORK with Windows 10. I reverted back to 8.1 for the time being. I then found a small mention on
Bernina's website with words to the effect that they are not guaranteeing the software will work with Windows 10 and recommend waiting until they come up with a solution.

So the check my PC maneuver did not find this. Very irritating.

On top of it all, they very craftily make it impossible to use the good old Google search engine. I was unable to get it to work with their new system.

Bernina Embroidery software v7 includes CorelDRAW Essentials and it will not install due to error 1706

I have been trying to install my Bernina Embroidery software which comes with CorelDraw Essentials x 6. The embroideru software

installs to Windows 10 fine but not the CorelDraw part of the software. What occurs is message Error #1706 cannot find.... etc.

I've received help from other users but in the end what has been suggested is that I reset or reinstall Window 10. I wonder if anyone would be able to suggest any alternative solutions to reinstalling Windows 10 upgrade again. Thanks.
