Windows 10: best app besides One note for windows 11 pc for taking handwritten notes allows for making...

I would like it to allow me to download digital planners, worksheets, PDF write on and so on. my tablet came with noteshelf for free but unfortunately Microsoft charges you it needs to be free with no trial but possible upgrade options later. I have the Yoga 7i 2in1 16in screen. handwritten notes with pdf download for digital planners that can be used on windows 11 and android phone tablet

Searching Handwritten Notes in OneNote for Windows

Refer to Search for notes in OneNote for Windows 10 and also based on my test, the handwriting
should be searchable in both OneNote for Windows or OneNote 2016.
However, some of them may not be searchable immediately, you should wait for a little bit time for giving the result.



As a workaround, you can also choose to convert the handwritten Notes to text. You can refer to this article:

2. Re-open the notebook to see if there’s any improvement.
3. Make new handwriting to see the result.
4. How long has the handwriting been existing but not searchable?

Searching Handwritten Notes in OneNote for Windows

When I search any of my notebooks for specific text the only results returned are from typed notes. I search for words that I know are in handwritten notes and the result is always - No results found. I am using OneNote for Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface
Pro.

Hey, thanks for the response. Unfortunately I've spent the last several days scouring google searchers related to the problem I am having. It's not that I can't physically find the handwritten notes. My problem is more of an indexing issue or recognition
issue maybe?

I can literally go to the page where I have my handwritten notes on, run a search for a clearly spelled word in the search bar and it will not show any results for the word. Yet if I highlight the word, then run convert to text it will accurately convert
the word.
