What are the best free apps you have found?

I was very disappointed in that also. Generally am not impressed with the store at all. There is limited ability to sort and find application, prices are a little high, apps are cross listed multiple ways, so tehre are not as many apps as you think.
Whoever designed it should really look much more closely at the Apple store. They understand how to sell apps much better.

 

Blinkbox, good Movie/TV rental/purchase service, use this instead of the MS one as it has better UK content
Overdrive, Allows me to borrow and read books from the library
Kobo, use this if buying books

Other ones I use are just the ones that come with windows

I do use the above on my tablet only though, don't use them on my desktop

If you like Netflix I recommend using a VPN if you are outside the USA -- the US content of Netflix is far superior to UK version --many more offerrings some of which might never get shown in the UK at all ---and it's actually CHEAPER !!! (Ok only by a few cents in this case but the content is so much better).

With International FAST Internet is there any excuse any more to have different content for different countries -- that way only promotes Piracy. Keeps the torrent sites fully occupied.

Just can't understand why the CEO's of TV and Hollywood studios can't understand this at all. Even a 5 year old kid could explain it easily.

(The store app still works through a VPN BTW).
