Windows 10: Best inexpensive device for Microsoft Word

I write a lot on my computer - stories, scripts, poems, letters, lists, etc - and I've been using Microsoft Word on a PC for about 20 years Windows XP, and I much prefer Microsoft Word compared to any equivalent such as Apple's 'Pages'. However, my current PC is now obsolete. I have other devices which are great for many things but not for Microsoft Word. I would like to replace my old PC with a device that's ideal for Microsoft Word, a device which stores all my documents conveniently and lets me organise them and find them easily, either an inexpensive PC or a laptop? Is there any PC or other device which is ideal for Microsoft Word? I would only want it for Microsoft Word, and access to email and documents on the Internet. What would suit me best? It doesn't have to be extremely inexpensive, but as I want it only for these basics needs, I wouldn't want it to be expensive.

I have a lot of ms word files on my pc. But one of them showed me an error - Getting unknown error messages while opening (.doc) or (.docx) files. I don't know how to open my word file or repair microsoft word. Any suggestions, guys, please.

I understand that you want to disable word suggestions when you type any word. I’ll certainly help you with the steps.



To disable text suggestions, I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows Logo key + I, to open
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Devices, and click on
   Typing on the left pane.
   
3. Now, under Typing toggle the switch to off for
   Show text suggestions as I type on the software keyboard.
   
4. Under Hardware keyboard, toggle the switch to on for
   Show text suggestions as I type.

Is it just one file, or all your word files?

With the exception of Outlook, I have yet to find a reason to stop using Office 2000, 2003, and 2007. They open all the latest files just fine, and they work just fine.
