Windows 10: Best power efficiency VS power saving mode.

Hello. Most of the time I use my laptop for browsing and PDF reading and these activities doesn't require much performance so most of the time my power mode is set to power saving mode. But int the power mode there is another option which is " Best power efficiency ". So, in which power mode my laptop will provide me maximum Screen time?

Problem with the power saving mode

Hello,

I've had a problem with power conservation for a few weeks now. Normally my procedure is the following:

1. Putting the PC into power saving mode
2. Switch off the connector strip to which the PC is connected
3. Next time switch on the power strip and start the PC

Windows Version: 2004, Build: 19041.264

Before that, all the programs I had open before power saving mode were open. Now I have the problem since a few weeks that the PC boots normally and all programs are closed. This is not so nice, because I always have relatively many programs open, so I always have to restart them, which takes some time.
Does anyone know by chance what this could be due to?

Power saving mode can be activated by pressing the power key once and selecting "Activate power saving" from the list.

Method 1: Run the power troubleshooter. Follow these
steps.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.

2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.

3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.

4. Run the Power troubleshooter.

Method 2: To see the power-saving settings for the printer,

1. Go to “Device Manager.”

2. Click the arrow beside “Printers” to show your printer, then right-click on the printer and choose “Properties.”

3. Click the “Power management” tab and then uncheck the box beside “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”


4. Click “OK” to save your changes.
