    Best way to get macos through a VM?


    I want to get macos on my pc because I would like to do some light use with XCode. I have an iMac at home, so this isn't a permanent solution. This is my first time using a VM, so I downloaded VMware player and looked up some tutorials to install macos, and I've seen several different methods with unclear steps. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to install macos through VMware, or if it would be easier for me to do so with a different VM?

    any way to run MacOS in a VM with an AMD processor?


    So i want to run macOS High Sierra or Mojave in a VM on my windows PC.
    I watched a load of tutorials online, and none worked. i then read that you can't run macOS, even in a VM, with an AMD processor, and i have an fx 6300.
    Is there really no way at all for me to run a VM with macOS?

    A lot of people managed to install macos in vm on ryzen system; however, it looks like more complicated than installing on intel machine. Not having amd proc, I cannot test it myself... If you have intel machine (core2 duo & 4GB RAM is sufficient), you can start installing macos in vmware player here as a training - patching/unlocking vmware player, making changes to vmx file, creating high sierra iso... After some learning and studying, you can try to step up to installing macos at amd system.

    Install MacOS Sierra from dmg file

    Hey over here: I want to install macOS on an empty partition I got. I got the following:
    - a dmg2img application
    -macOS.dmg
    How can I use those to install OS X on my PC? I heard of tonymac but I don't know if it works for my case (Dmg folder as I don't own a mac but need the os x to run a specific software).
    P.S: I don't own a mac(I already said that?)
    Some step by step would be appreciated
