    Hi guys,

    I'd like to make a shared folder on my windows laptop and a shared folder macbook so I can share files between each.

    Is there a good method or tutorial you'd suggest for setting this up?

    • Have you made any changes on your PC?
    • Did you perform any Windows update recently?
    • Are you connected to Domain network?

    Windows on Macbook Pro using Bootcamp

    Hi,

    You need support software (drivers) installed with Boot Camp to use Windows 10. This software is automatically downloaded when you use Boot Camp Assistant. Boot Camp supports 64-bit versions of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro when used with a supported
    Mac. Here are the list that supports Windows 10:

    • MacBook Pro (2012 and later)
    • MacBook Air (2012 and later)
    • MacBook (2015 and later)
    • iMac Pro (2017)iMac (2012 and later)
    • Mac mini (2012 and later)
    • Mac mini Server (Late 2012)
    • Mac Pro (Late 2013)

    We also suggest that you check and follow the steps shared by Andre Da Costa on this
    thread on how to setup Windows 10 on your Mac using Boot Camp.

    Windows 10 cannot access a shared MacBook Pro on the network

    I just purchased a MacBook Pro. Turned on sharing for everyone on our network for Documents and Pictures but my Windows 10 laptop cannot see the MacBook in the Network list in File Manager. I was able to see the Mac from Windows 7 before I upgraded to
    Windows 10. Is there a driver or two missing that needs to be installed before I can see the Mac or are there other settings that need to be adjusted to all my Win10 laptop to access the Mac. Thanks!
