Windows 10: Big Error with Users

Hi, So I have 2 users in my laptop(Asus ROG Zephyrus G14): both with admin privileges and linked to MS business accounts. I only really use User1 and that's where all my stuff is.

When I rebooted my laptop today I logged on with my fingerprint as i usually do and then immediately once I get in it tells me to Configure a fingerprint or a Win Hello in that blue screen as if that user (User1) was a new one. Only to find that, when I ignore the blue screen it is inside what apparently looks like User1 but with no admin privileges and it does indeed seem like a new user, with none of my files etc.

When I go to /C:/Users I see that there are 3 users: User1, User2 and User1v9, very weird. However when I go to settings-accounts-users I only see the 2 that should be there and it says that both are admins.

Please help me I need to work tomorrow and I am in big trouble

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

Removing a "hidden" user and user files

Thanks for your patience. I was able with "Net User" to remove the left over user. It no longer appears when I invoke Net User.

Now for the user's folder which remains behind. After performing the series of steps that you suggested, I attempted to delete this folder. The result again was an error message about permission


"Administrators" appears on the list in the list of advanced security.
