Big problem: local security authority LSA protection is off after the last Windows Update

Hello,I am having a major issue in this computer after I have installed the last update from Windows Update KB5023706.After installing this update some hours later Microsoft Defender is not working. When I take a look to the "Security at a glance window"... in Device security it says that the local security authority LSA protection is off. After this, the antivirus is having an erratic behaviour. Some times, it says my machine does not have a TPM active. Some times it says the TPM is active. Some times security at a glance shows everything green except Device SecuritySome times, it shows ev

    Disabling LSA protection

We have an internal issue causing something not to work when the LSA protection is enabled.

As we also have "Block credential stealing from the Windows local security authority subsystem (lsass.exe)" ASR rule, and following this recommendation that "having both running at the same time would be redundant" we want to turn off the LSA protection.

The problem starts with the fact that all our devices support Secure Boot and since years we use UEFI based devices.

On those machines the task of disabling LSA protection seems like very cumbersome and not straight forward.

Is there more easy and centralized way to disable LSA protection on a few thousands windows machines?

    Thanks in advance

    Local Security Authority Protection

I have the security Action badge indicating to me that Windows security Action is required.

I open up by clicking the badge and see the notice that the Local Security Authority Protection is required to be turned on and restart the computer to which I perform those two actions.

After my computer is reloaded the Security Badge still requires me to turn Local Security Authority Protection on, as I have already done.
