Windows 10: Big Problem Someone please Help

Hi,

So I had this laptop running a genuine copy of windows 10, and I decided to switch to another os, and wiped the data, after trying the os I realized windows was a lot better, so I made a bootable usb with another windows10 laptop and inserted it in my laptop, the from the boot menu on my Dell Laptop I chose to boot from the usb, it was successful, it even recognised that the laptop already had windows and didn't ask for a product key and it even had the same background as before, however when I looked in file explorer I saw that windows was actually registering the usb as disk C and running windows on the usb, my laptop has 2 drives a ssd and a hdd, windows used to run on the ssd and now it is not even showing the sad on the file explorer.

Someone knows how I can install windows on the ssd and not run windows on the usb? If someone knows please help I really need the laptop, especially in these days. I just want to point out that I can restore the system or reinstall it as it doesn't have anything.

If someone knows, when do the microsoft support lines open in the uk? I called them and they didn't pick up, but the virtual assistant says that the lines are open and the only problem is the long waiting time.

Big problems with Windows 10 after installation.

This issue may occur due to the outdated display driver or come file are corrupt. For now do not re-install Windows 10, try the below steps and check if it helps resolve the issue.

Step 1. Update the display driver.

I would suggest you to update Display driver. Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + X and click on Device manager.
• Locate for Display Adaptor and expand it.
• Right click on the adaptor and click on update.

Step 2. (Unspecified error 0x8000ffff),

For the issue error 0x8000ffff, I suggest you to check if the Volume Shadow Copy service is running on your computer or not.
To check for the same follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, type “services.msc” on the box and hit Enter.
• Locate for “Volume Shadow Copy” and check if the service is started.
• If not ‘Start’ the service by right clicking on it.

If the service was already started, I would suggest you to stop the service and restart the same.

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
