Windows 10: Billing refund

Hello, I had a subscription with liquidtext a note taking application for school. I found a new application for school and thought I cancelled the subscription in August, I got an email today from Microsoft saying that they renewed my subscription - showing me that my cancellation did not take. I cancelled it for sure today but was wondering if there is a way to be refunded the funds they took today.

• Go to account.microsoft.com.
• Log in using your username and password.
• Click the Payment & billing tab.
• Select Order History.

If the charge shows on your Order History, please contact Microsoft Store Support. Refer to this

If the charge is not showing, you may need to contact the developer of the game to process the refund.
