Windows 10: bing to google in windows 10 search

I have had several techs from duifferent sites try and helopme get ggole search instaed of bing as default in windows 100 search bar i have gone to microsoft edge and tried it there but none of the techs nor myself have been able to do it not sure if an update changed it bbut for awhile i was getting it
. now it just wiil not change not sure if i confgure setting wrong or maybe i will jus t have to live with bing
or not

Google as default search

On my new Samsung Notebook 9 I want to make Google the default search engine in Internet Explorer. I open Explorer, click on tools, click on manage add-ons and then click on search providers. That shows me a list which includes Bing (twice) and Google.
In the far right column under "search suggestions" Bing is listed as "enabled" and Google is listed as "not available." How do I make Google available?

 

In Windows 10 , can I change Cortana search engine from Bing to Google?

The Windows 10 Cortana application is Microsoft Bing proprietary and cannot be adjusted.

Microsoft Windows 10 has introduced the intended replacement for Internet Explorer called Microsoft Edge which also defaults to searching using Bing. If there are no listed alternate search engines when attempting to add a new one then, assuming the search
provider supports the "OpenSearch" standard they can be added using the steps listed below.

1. In Microsoft Edge - Open a tab to your desired "Google" and leave the tab open to the default google website.

2. Select More actions (...) > Settings and then scroll down to select View
advanced settings. In the list under Search in the address bar with, choose Add new.

3. Select the website and then select Add as default

 

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?


Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
