Windows 10: Bing Web Results on Windows Search not working

Hello,I've been trying to fix Bing Web Results in Windows Search for a while now. It's convenient to have when quickly looking something up without opening a browser. However, whenever I try to search for something, I get "No Results Found for ----."I've tried almost everything I could find on Google, including rebuilding the index, enabling and disabling Web Search in settings, adjusting various registry settings, etc., but I still haven't found a solution.I would appreciate any help in fixing this. If the only solution is a fresh install, please don't bother answering, as I’m not planning on

Bing stopped showing WEB results on Windows Phone

Lately I experienced issues with Bing on my Windows Phone (WP7.8, Lumia 710).

No WEB results are shown or they are partial. I can search for NEWS or PICTURES fine.

For example:

• Searching for "face" yields no results.
• Searching for "google" returns GOOGLE company info and
  NEWS only. It doesn't return link to google.com page nor any other
  WEB results!

Anybody experienced the same? Anybody can suggest a solution? Or at least who to contact to get support?

Bing Maps - not working (search), and Bing Search (local results)

I have read similar problems with Bing where you need to get the phrasing correct in the Maps application for search results to show up, but I am not getting ANY results period in the map app, unless I type in an exact address. I also tried none local searches
(such as bestbuy dallas texas, or best buy dallas texas) to no avail. Bing search and everything else works but I cannot look things up, like if I type in Mcdonalds, instead of getting McDonalds results here in Edmonton, AB I get the town McDonald, BC. Wal
mart, etc nothing shows up. There are 4 offices in town at my work, on my Android type into maps and boom results, here I get no results found unless I type exact address. This is really odd.... Also no local search results in Bing Search(search button on
phone), I can type in Panago Pizza or just pizza in general and only comes up with tabs web and news, not local. My GPS works so i can't see it being a problem, and it shows up as Edmonton, AB in the bing search app as well (where it shows location). I live
in a city of 1 million so It's not an issue of no listings, an if i use bing on the computer the local search results show up fine. It's like a black hole in the phone, location is turned on, every setting I checked...

 

Disable Web Search Results in Windows 10 Start Menu

Disabling web results in the search box depends on the version and build of your Windows 10. We suggest checking the Windows 10 version and build installed on your computer. To check the version and build, follow the steps below:

• On Cortana search, type winver and press
  Enter.
• A pop-up box will appear containing the version and build of your operating system.

Meanwhile, you can try these steps on how to disable web results in the search box:

• Click the search box in the taskbar.
• Select the Notebook icon

• Click Settings from the list.
• In the Settings page, turn off the Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts and more option.
• Also, turn off the Search online and include web results option.
