Short storyAcer aspire 315-54 8th gen m.2 drive not showing in bios.Long StoryWhile I was using my laptop the other day, it just froze and shut down. I then tried rebooting it and it came up with a No Bootable device notice.I then decided to create a bootable drive in hopes to reinstall windows but alas, my m.2 drive is not showing up the Bios and when I try to install windows.Please help

Short story

Acer aspire 315-54 8th gen m.2 drive not showing in bios.

Long Story

While I was using my laptop the other day, it just froze and shut down. I then tried rebooting it and it came up with a No Bootable device notice.

I then decided to create a bootable drive in hopes to reinstall windows but alas, my m.2 drive is not showing up the Bios and when I try to install windows.

Hi Paul,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Boot into BIOS, find the option to apply BIOS defaults and apply that

Disable CSM Support permanently and disable Secure Boot during the installation.

Save those settings

Does that drive then show in the installation?
