Windows 10: BIOS not fully ACPI compliant

Does this mean the bios is bad or needing to be updated? No idea if this new to me system is 100% working because after I power it up I press F2 to enter the BIOS and there it sits, keyboard won't work now nor does it work if I just let it try to boot which is confusing me because it had to work to get into the BIOS. When it tries to boot, at the first windows page with the 4 blue boxes "PREPARING AUTOMATIC REPAIR" displays below the boxes followed by an error page saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart for you." Which it does but since nothing has changed

I have a Lenovo S21e Laptop with 2gb ram and 40gb hard disk. Windows 8.1 came with the laptop, subsequently it was upgraded to windows 10.

I wanted to restore the system to factory settings but it was unsuccessful, i then tried to format it but it comes up with a Blue Screen which says "The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant . Please contact your system vendoe for an updated BIOS."

ACPI Not Compliant??

I restarted my pc today twice and got a bsod that said Bios acpi not compliant. I have had this bios version for 10 months. I hit the reset on the mobo and it started and is running fine. What gives?
