BIOS power on function disabled since Win 10 upgrade

I have the BIOS setting to auto power on every day at a designated time. It has worked with a dual boot Win 7/8.1 system. However, since upgrading the Win 8.1 to Win 10 (dual boot Win 7/10) it no longer powers on at the designated time. Its still set up correctly in the BIOS.

This is apparently not the "fast boot" option that was in Win 8.1 as I can access the BIOS on power on (couldn't with the Win 8 fast boot).

Probably a setting but not sure where to look.

    :)

Solved : Upgrade fails with NX bit not supported error on CPU with NX, PAE and SSE2 support as verified by MS coreinfo tool.

And fresh win 10 bootable iso install works fine too, but i cant activate it using my win 7 key since i have an oem pre installed version of windows 7.

So win 10 works fine, but i cant activate it since the upgrade setup is failing. Is there a way i can bypass this check on the upgrade setup or contact MS support for a win 10 key based on my oem win 7 key?

Also, bios supports NX bit too and is set to enabled.

    -----------

Edit : The final solution was to *Disable* NX support in the BIOS. Dont ask me why it works though. But judging from comments below, it has worked for a few others too

Win 10/Win 7 and the BIOS clock all have the correct time. Nothing has changed in the BIOS. The only change is the Win 10 upgrade.

I think I solved the problem. It was the fast boot, but unlike Windows 8/8.1 the fast boot in Win 10 allows accessing the BIOS at power on, where it didn't in Win 8/8.1.

I've changed the parameter but will have to wait until the morning to see if it works. Thus I won't mark this as solved right now.
