Windows 10: Bios Reboot powered off

I have a Vivo PC x, the other day I saw something on the screen I thought was a virus so i hard powered off the systemHeld the button down till everything died

Turns out the computer was updating some bios records or whatever bios relates to, regardless, now I can't do anything the screen is frozen saying it needs to load some sort of .CAP file. Well I found the CAP file bios firmware on ASUS and downloaded it to a formated flash drive, , and insured it into my vivo PC X. Nothing has happened and i cant use the keyboard either. Can someone tell me what I did and how i can fix it, please and thank you!

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

Hi,

We understand your concern and appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

access BIOS settings in Win 10

I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?
