    Hello,I had a desktop that was working fine and another desktop that no longer started up. This may have been dumb but i removed the hard from the working desktop and placed the hard drive from the other that would not start up. The computer did a recovery on the drive and it started up with the built in administrator. I was able to retrieve files i needed.I thought I'd be able to switch hard drives to the working one and the desktop would work as usual. It still boots up with the built in administrator. It detects the hard drive and it lists it as D: drive and not C:I've tried changing the bi

    access BIOS settings in Win 10

    I have an 8-year old computer running Win 10. I need to access the BIOS settings. It used to be the holding down the F2 key during startup would bring up the BIOS screen in Windows computers. But this no longer works. A web article listed a complicated
    series of steps leading to a reboot . . . but still no access to BIOS. Any suggestions?
