Windows 10: Bios update deactivated windows 11 license and Microsoft using refusing to help

I did a bios update to my motherboard and afterwards my windows 11 license was deactivated, and trying to reactivate just errors out. I've had this windows for awhile, I did an upgrade from windows 10 to 11. I do not have the original key, I have always just reinstalled windows from the hard drive and kept it going. I even built a new pc 2 years ago and transferred the windows to that pc, no issues. Initially I was transferred to Microsoft tech support and they remoted into my pc, and were not able to solve the issue. They recommended to do a windows repair / reinstall, which I did in my

Updated Bios and Microsoft deactivated my Windows 11 Pro License,

After I updated my motherboard BIOS Microsoft deactivated my legal purchased WIN11 Pro 23H2 licence. My legal copy of WIn11 displays Activate Windows Go to settings to activate Windows. I cannot activate Windows.

It had been working previously as an activated copy of Win11.

I have contacted support but still awaiting a response
I am very disappointed that updating the motherboard BIOS deactivates Windows 11 & can see there are other people complaining about this.

Microsoft you need to reactivate my copy of Win!!

Unable to Activate Windows 11 after bios update. Microsoft forcing users to pay for a license for a what was a free update to Windows 11

I can see the same PC online in my list of devices online but the hardware troubleshooter

can't find that device when listing my devices. Something has caused it to lose track of

my already activated Windows 11 license.

I have contacted support and they are refusing to Activate my license after my bios update.

They want proof of purchase after multiple free upgrades to Windows 10 and then to Windows 11

They keep stating something about a global policy change

In essence Microsoft is forcing users to pay for new license after a they were offered a free update to Windows 11.

All I can say where is the lawsuit.

 

Windows 11 deactivated after bios update

Windows 11 has deactivated after I updated my bios, I wouldn't mind but it's now refusing to re-activate at all and appears to want me to buy a new one despite the fact the hardware's identical, so I'm not inclined to do this or agree with Microsoft's assertion that i've physically changed my hardware.

The error reported is

"We can't activate Windows on this device at the moment. You can try activating again later, or go to the store to buy genuine Windows. Error code: 0x803FABBA"

Not happy with Microsoft or my motherboard manufacturer for this, I've never in decades of using PCs and upgrading bios' seen this happen before.
