  1. Bit locker Cant access files after changing drive letter

I changed my bit locker drive letter not realizing I would be able to see my files, I know my password and can get into it but don't see on files anymore. I know they are there because the hard drive space is showing used space.

    :)

  3. bit locker & data encryption

    Hello, have a good time.

I encountered a problem with data encryption. I used to have access to Bit Locker and I had encrypted one of my drives with Bit Locker, but after I deleted all the junk files with the software, Bit Locker was no longer active and I could not access the encrypted drive. I had to format the drive. Even now, despite having all the prerequisites on the laptop and even having the data encryption section, I cannot access this section, and the bit locker has been removed from the control panel, and the bit locker is no longer on the device. does not deny I apologize for the bad grammar. Because I used the translator to translate. Thank you for your help.

  4. Bit locker Cant access files after changing drive letter

How in WIN 11 do I change the drive letter of the CD/ROM drive?

    Thanks, Greg.

So this is what worked, step by step.

    Reboot

Drive is listed as E: in file explorer.

Drive not listed in Disk Management.

Insert DVD, it plays after short pause.

Disk management now shows Audio CD as E:

Right click, change letter to R: (while playing!)

    Reboot.

Drive now shows as BD-RE drive as R: in File Explorer.

    The bottom line is

    - File Explorer does not provide for changing drive letter afics.

    - Disk Management seems to need a disk to be in the drive for it to "see" the drive. I can't recall is this is Win 10 behaviour

I don't recall having any difficulty with this in Win 10 (its possible that the Win 10 default drive allocation was "after" my external drives; or I "just changed it").

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
