Windows 10: Bit Locker Recovery Key Lost

One of my members of staff has input the wrong password into his surface pro and now bitlocker is asking for recovery key as too many attempts at password so need this to unlock surface but unfortunately it appears the key has been misplaced and worst still not saved on employee's Microsoft account.


What do you do or can you do to essentially reset the surface back to factory settings which I assume will mean losing all data that was stored on laptop?

1. What is the error message appears when you’re trying to enter a Bit locker key?
   
2. What is the version of Windows 10 you have installed?
   
3. What is the make and model number of your computer?
   

Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.

bit locker recovery key

any one please help me in finding bit locker recovery key. when i turned on bit locker i saved my key but it got erased from my usb. i aslo cleared my tpm 2.0

Since last 4 days it is bit locker recovery key.

It is working well after giving Recovery key.
