Windows 10: Bit locker

    Bit locker


    After my laptop froze which has never happened since I've had it-several years / bought brand new after restarting did the repeated f2 it checked- think it said hardware- OK... or something.... moved on sent me to bit locker recovery key page.... i have no key never did, checked Microsoft accounts ... no key.... after hours of reading pushed esc instruction for alternative recovery options. Then Dell logo comes on & at bottom says preparing bitlocker recovery.... this remains for several minutes then screen goes completely black except arrow/cursor.... after all these hours & hours &

    Bit locker key

    Bit locker won’t except any of the keys from my Microsoft account. What’s the next step to get it unlocked?

    Please provide some additional information, so that we can assist you better.

    1. What is the error message appears when you’re trying to enter a Bit locker key?
    2. What is the version of Windows 10 you have installed?
    3. What is the make and model number of your computer?

    Issues might be happening because of entering Incorrect Bit Locker recovery key. Bit Locker key password will be a 48-digit alpha numeric characters.
