Discus and support bitdefender advised this file is malware... in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; So bitdefender completed scan and said this file was malware - is this correct?     BitDefender missing

    Hi,

    Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I would suggest you to search for BitDefender in the search next to start. If you are not able to find and if you have BitDefender CD/DVD, then I would suggest you to re-install BitDefender.

    Malware bytes compatibility with BitDefender

    I've installed Bitdefender and MalwareBytes in the same device, and both worked fine without interference to each other, and that's because MalwareByte is just an extra protection for malwares, while Bitdefender protects the whole device. The only issue they cause is consuming a lot of resources, which makes your PC running slower.
