Windows 10: Bitdefender free 2016 is out of beta

notrayorphans.exe was blocked by Bitdefender at my end.

 

Are you running any other AV or malware protection?

Edit, downloaded that file and scanned it. It's clean (scanned with Bitdefender)

 

Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.

 

Weird... I would uninstall Bitdefender, check PC with Adwcleaner and Malwarebytes and maybe some other tools (rootkit..)

 

I already uninstalled Bitdefender. I am trying Kaspersky now.

I would do the same if I don't like Kaspersky.

 

BD Free is a PITA... blocks everything in sight - most of my own apps need to be added to exclusions :sigh:

 

B-HAVE (Behavioral Heuristic Analyzer in Virtual Environments), a component of the Bitdefender Engines, could be the culprit.

 

That's all fine and well - but it's not behaving very well for me *chuckle

 

Is this some recent b-havior? It worked fine for me, but went with WD in Insider and then on regular machine too... Tried it out recently, and had to exclude UUP2ISO again. Other files were fine

 

Not sure, this is a clean install - I was using our corporate AV b-fore.

 

Two days ago I discovered false detection and notified Kaspersky, which fixed it this morning.
Perhaps you can notify Bitdefender too.
