Windows 10: Bitlocked encrypted data is Unable to decrypt after transferring data From Pc to Harddisk?

hello,The details goes as follows:I Encrypted my E: drive on my Lenovo laptop on windows 10 and a few years back i changed my laptop. so i transferred my whole data in my hard disk. Similarly following the basic steps of Encryption of my Drive E: , I Entered my bitlocker Password of drive E: And transferred the whole data into my hard disk. And now when i open it on my new laptop the files are encrypted and when i try to access the files it gives me a message that you dont have the permission to access the file. See the owner of the file or administrator to access the file. I am not able to co

Bitlocker Encryption

I'm not entirely sure if Bitlocker is encrypting my data.

I freshly installed windows 10 pro, encrypted the hard-drive using the "used space only" method, its brought up a percentage bar then after it was done I started to download a lot of things like up to 70gb worth or stuff on my computer. After I complete
downloading all the files, I check Bitlocker to see if it has encrypted the data with the "manage-bde -status" command and it was already at 100%. I'm not sure if it already encrypted the data, if it pending to be encrypted or if I need to decrypt then re-encrypt
the harddisk .

Can someone please give me information on how it works

 

Bitlocker Decryption stucked at 99.9%, how to resolve it?

I was trying to encrypt my external data drive using Bitlocker, But it was stucked at 24.8%. I kept my pc on for whole night but encryption process was not successful. Then i removed the external hardisk.

Every time i connect the harddisk, bitlocker encryption dialogue box pop up and were always at 24.8%.

After so many try, I found the CMD command

manage-bde -off drive:

This command has ended the encryption process and started the decryption proecess.

Now, the problem is that this decryption process is stucked at 99.9%. It is not showing any progress, What to do?

 

How to turn bitlocker "again" on a drive which was previously bitlocker decrypted? Please Help!

Device encryption helps protect your data by encrypting ("scrambling") it. Only someone with the right encryption key (like a password) can decrypt ("unscramble") it.

• Sign in to Windows with an administrator account.
• Go to Start, enter encryption, and select
  Change device encryption settings from the list of results.
• Select Manage BitLocker, select Turn on BitLocker, and then follow the instructions.
