Windows 10: BitLocker code required at EVERY restart

I attempted to replace the malfunctioning keyboard in my Dell Inspiron 5379 this past weekend, and to access the keyboard, one must remove all the guts of the computer. Circuit board, hard drive, battery... everything. I got it all put together and functioning, but now every time I restart or turn on my computer from off, I have to put in the 48 digit BitLocker code. I am running Windows 11.I have gone through the forum, tried disabling it via both the Settings menu, and via Command Prompt. There is only one account on this computer, and it is mine. The Windows is Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299.

• Was your computer previously connected to a domain network?

No

• When you had your BitLocker set up, was it on the same hard disk drive?

I don't really know, but I guess so. I was not even aware of the BitLocker until I was asked for the key. It only happened after they changed the motherboard.

• Is the computer a workstation or is it a personal computer?

Personal.

I should emphasise that I am only asked for the key sometimes.

 

bitlocker code

Hello,

1.)once I open and turn on my laptop it directly takes me to a blue screen asking for the bit locker code

2.) I never even knew what a bit locker code was until that day, I never set up any code on my laptop

3.) when I sign in, it says that there is no available code and that is weird because is set up my laptop with that email/account
