Windows 10: BitLocker Decryption Taking forever to complete

Hi,Recently my C Drive partition got space full so i tried to to add some space to it through other patriations but it was bitlocked. I'm now trying to decrypt the and it is taking forever to complete.Of note, the overall size of my HDD is about 1 TB. and as for C drive its 100 GB.First of all it went smoothly but once it reached 95% it stopped there. I've waited for about 12 hours and it is still at 95%.May I know when to expect the completion of the process. I have assignments to complete using the Laptop.Please help

BitLocker Decryption Taking forever to complete.

I recently deleted my Ubuntu partition and added it to my Windows C drive (which is BitLocked). I'm now trying to decrypt the and it is taking forever to complete.

Of note, the drive is about 400GB.

I've waited for about 12 hours and it is still decrypting.

May I know when to expect the completion of the process. I have assignments to complete using the Laptop.

Please help

 

Bitlocker Stuck Decrypting

As a BitLocker user myself, I can definitively say it has zero issues with SSD's. Nor has Microsoft listed any SSD drive issues.

Also be aware BitLocker decryption is not an instantaneous process and can take anywhere between 20 minutes to a few hours depending on data and size of drive.

That said, drive decryption does not prevent normal use of drive.

Microsoft says it takes 1 minute to decrypt 500MB, since your drive is 400GB, by that rule, that would take 800 Minutes or 13.3 hours . . .

However, the Microsoft estimation is based on optimal conditions, so I would say, maybe 15 hours, to decrypt that drive
