Windows 10: Bitlocker disk went invalid, cant recover.

Hey, ive recently switched to Redhat 8.3. after which i switched back to win10 pro because of school. Ever since i havent been able to access my bitlocked D drive, which also contains my system image, with all my software.




When following a small guide online i get this contradiction inside the command line:




I've also tried recovery software like Minidisk Partition Wizard, and Recuva. Neither of which have been successful so far...


Does anyone have a solid solution? The disk also contains school projects which i need back desperately.

BitLocker Invalid Recovery Key

Hi all,

Is there any way to recover/get back data from encrypted HDD? I'm using Dell Vostro (Windows 10 Pro). My machine was encrypted with bitlocker. I had a hardware failures that I need to change to the new motherboard. After I change it to the new motherboard,
my machine was lock. I try the recovery key that I store at the first time I setup the bitlocker but it said it was invalid key. Anyways to recover it? Last solution probably sent to the Microsoft if they can recovery it?

 

Recovering Local Disk

It could be a compatibility issue with the latest update and your local disk. We suggest updating your disk driver. Follow these steps:

• On the Start, type Device Manager.
• Locate and select Disk drives.
• Right-click on your disk drive, select Properties.
• Go to the Driver tab and choose Update Driver.
• Once done, click OK.

Bitlocker Key Issue Date Invalid??

Hi,

I recently had to have my laptop's motherboard replaced and I had to use the Bitlocker Key to unlock the system. I noticed that the "Key Issue Date" was listed as "Invalid Date".

I was wondering if that will affect the validity of the key? And is there any way of rectifying that issue?
