Windows 10: Bitlocker does not have "resume protection" option

I have login to my laptop using administrator account. However, when i navigated to "Manage Bitlocker", my bitlocker status is "Suspended" and that is no "Resume Protection" for me to turn on. See pic 1.For info, my drive is 100% encrypted. See pic 2.Anyone knows how can i enable bitlock for protection?

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

• You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
• The drive must be BitLocker-protected.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
• A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  
• Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.

BitLocker Drive Protection Suspended and Unable to Resume

Windows Defender requested that I "reset my TPM", which I did. But upon the restarting of the computer, the bitlocker drive protection is disabled for my C drive and when I try to resume it, it says, "An internal error has occurred within the Trusted Platform
Module support program."

How do I fix this?

 

Cannot resume BitLocker protection

Hello,

I have an issue with my Surface Pro 3, running Windows 10.

In fact, I cannot resume BitLocker protection on my C: drive. I got the following error :

"A compatible Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Security Device cannot be found on this computer"

Indeed, when I went to Device Manager, I saw that there is an error on "Trusted Platform Module 2.0". In the device status, it says that :

"This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12). If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."

I've tried update windows, uninstall & reinstall the drive, search for an update... nothing works.

Is there anyone who can tell me what I have to do ?

P.S : Following is the full history that bring me to deactivate the BitLocker, maybe it can provide some useful information :

1. My Type Cover stopped working. Windows doesn't see it. Refresh device manager didn't help.

2. After searching on Internet, I tried the two button shutdown. Magic ! The Type Cover illuminate again during boot time.

3. The Surface boot into BitLocker screen. I thought it's normal, so I searched for the key in my account, put it there and unlock my Surface.

4. The Surface restarted correctly into Windows.

5. But, the next time when I restart, it took me back again to BitLocker screen. And it happens like that each time.

6. I continued searching on Internet, and I found that I can deactivate the BitLocker protection by command line (using manage-bde), so I did it.

7. Effectively, I don't have the BitLocker screen anymore, but now I cannot resume the protection, hence my question.

8. Another thing that makes me worry : in Event Viewer, I can see these events each time I restart my Surface :

The speed of processor 0 in group 0 is being limited by system firmware. The processor has been in this reduced performance state for 71 seconds since the last report.

(1 event for each processor, from 0 to 3)

Is there anything wrong with my hardware ?
