Windows 10: Bitlocker Hardware Encryption for OS Drive "not supported" when installing from any image...

Past years I have been installing Win10 on multiple HP ZBook 15 G5/G6/G7 laptops containing a Samsung 970 Pro or 980 Pro SSD.With recent hardware designed well past the SSD hardware encryption flaws discovered in 2018 I'm putting my trust again into Bitlocker hardware encryption for the OS drive... we can use the speed gains during some intensive software build processes at work but require encryption on all mobile devices per policy.Curiously enough, I cannot get the hardware encryption to work from any Win 10 installation image after June 2020. It does work with that image and earlier ones

BitLocker Encrypted Hard Drive to MAC

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.

Bitlocker Drive Encryption

Recently I was attempting to encrypt my drive with bitlocker because windows was suggesting to encrypt them via the security page when logging into my account. Though, when I do attempt to encrypt them with bitlocker it states that my drive is already
encrypted via bitlocker. I was wondering if there was a different way that it needs to be set up because I was hoping to add the extra layer of security to my drives with bitlocker encryption and password protecting them via a recovery key.
