    Bitlocker key not found with personal account


    Hello,I have a Surface Pro device that is asking to enter a Bitlocker key. It is showing a personal email address as hint.When I logon to this personal account, I do not see a Bitlocker key, or the device registered.How is this possible? Could it be a bug with Microsoft surface Bitlocker registration?With Microsoft personal account, is there a log or history of when a device and/or a Bitlocker key was added/deleted?Thank you

    How to save my BitLocker recovery key to my personal Microsoft account, when there is a domain account connected?

    I want to encrypt some personal hard drives with BitLocker on Windows 10, and save the recovery keys to my personal Microsoft account, which is the one I connect to Windows with.

    The problem is that I have also connected my university's domain account, and BitLocker will only let me save the key to this uni account : the "Save to Microsoft account" option in the BitLocker setup window has been replaced with "Save to your cloud domain account", and when I select this, the key doesn't appear in my Microsoft account's recovery keys list, which I assume means that the key has been sent to my uni's network instead.

    These keys are for personal drives and I want to save them to my personal account. I don't want to remove the domain account entirely as it's convenient. How can I choose which account to save the BitLocker recovery keys to ?

    Remove account

    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

    Bitlocker key not found with personal account

    Bitlocker key can not be found in the microsoft account

    After a regular update of Windows my Notebook asked me for the Bitlocker Key although I never activated this. The device is listed in my account but in the list of keys it's not.

    Simply doing a reset is definitely not an option, the data is needed.

    Every single suggestion for how to find the key is absolutely useless so far.
