Windows 10: Bitlocker Key - Where to find it upon logging in to Microsoft Account?

Where exactly in my Microsoft account does the bitlocker security key show?This is an extremely frustrating experience. The Microsoft account bitlocker key is nowhere to be found.I signed into my account a few times today. The first time I could see a heading "Bitlocker Key". I did not open it. I logged out.Upon signing in again in order to get this key as I need it now, the heading "Bitlocker Key" is no longer showing. I signed in several times and cannot get to this heading again. Why? and Where do I go in my account to get to this key?

Bitlocker key can not be found in the microsoft account

After a regular update of Windows my Notebook asked me for the Bitlocker Key although I never activated this. The device is listed in my account but in the list of keys it's not.

Simply doing a reset is definitely not an option, the data is needed.

Every single suggestion for how to find the key is absolutely useless so far.

 

Bitlocker Randomly Enabled

Hi,

On my personal Lenovo laptop, Bitlocker somehow randomly was enabled. I have not enabled it, and I followed the recovery steps without luck. It seems that it was enabled during an update. I logged into my Microsoft account, see that the laptop is listed, but there is no bitlocker key listed. I am at a loss on what the next steps might be for me to be able to log into my computer at this point.

No bitlocker key save to logged-in microsoft account

No problem. I have searched around a little more, but I am afraid the option to backup the key to the account is either broken or has been partially removed. Just my theory.

You could use the feedback app and search for "Bitlocker save" and vote to support one (or all) of the complaints listed there - like this we give Microsoft direct feedback.
