Windows 10: Bitlocker locked me out after Windows update

Hello,I have been locked out of my computer after a Windows update, the message is asking me for my Bitlocker recovery key. I purchased this computer and no one else has ever touched it. I never had a Bitlocker recovery key. The version I have is a home edition and a lot of articles say that Bitlocker is not installed.I have a lot of files and pictures that I am unable to access, please help.

Windows 8.1 PRO unable to unlock Bitlocked drive

As you can see BitLocker Option is not highlighted for selection. It's like Windows does not even recognize this drive as a locked drive. And this drive does contain lot of Data.

 

Bitlocker Not Working After Windows 10 Update

I followed your suggestions and these did not resolve the problem.

I have found that Bitlocker stops working after I have relocked the drive using the command "manage-bde -lock -forcedismount d:" and the computer remains idle for some time. When I return and try to access the drive, it does not display the window to enter
the password. There are instance of bdeunlock.exe listed in the Task Manager-->Details window however.

Everything was working fine until this latest update.

Any additional suggestions?
