Windows 10: Bitlocker locking my lenovo 720S-13IKB drive after a bios update

Hello,

So earlier this morning, my lenovo 720S-13IKB asked a bios update that I accepted not knowing that this issue will appear. Then there appeared a blue screen with bitlocker and asking me to insert a key. Key that I don't have, as I havent enabled this bitlocker. I didn't even know that it was on my computer....


After searching on the internet I was unable to find any solution to my problem. I have chatted with lenovo and they said that I should ask microsoft for help, microsoft support told me the same thing...


This problem seems without a solution as microsoft/lenovo seem not to care as seen on all the forums online.


I'm desperately searching for a solution to regain access to my documents at least...

Windows hello. Fingerprint problems. Lenovo yoga 720 13IKB (i5 7200).

Hello.

I cannot use the fingerprint function on my Lenovo Yoga 720-13IKB (Win10); gives the error "code 10".

Reseting PIN, updating synaptics, wbdi driver don't resolve the issue.

Who faced this prob please help!

BitLocker Encrypted Hard Drive to MAC

I suggest you to perform below mentioned steps to disable BitLocker.

To disable BitLocker I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
  
• 
  Change View by from Category
  to Large Icons/Small Icons.
  
• 
  Click on BitLocker Drive Encryption and click on
  Turn BitLocker Off.
  
• 
  Follow on screen instructions. Click on Decrypt the Drive
  when the message appears.
