Windows 10: Bitlocker problem at tail end of trying to fix 0x80070643 error with windows update

Had a security update KB5034441 which wouldn't install 0x80070643 error.Followed the links from Microsoft and did the following:Have resized my Windows RE partition, per KB5028997: Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update - Microsoft SupportHave extracted a new copy of winre.wim from ISO and put it in the new partition, per how to download winre.wim - Microsoft CommunityNow I cannot enable Windows RE because of Bitlocker, thus:C:\WINDOWS\system32>reagentc /enableREAGENTC.EXE: Windows RE cannot be enabled on a volume with BitLocker Drive Encryption enabl

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

After running Windows Update Troubleshooter I see the following:

"Windows Update Components Must Be Repaired" = Fixed

"Service registration is missing or corrupt. Reset Service Registration" = Completed

I then followed instruction under your next suggestions:

'what can I try if I'm having problems installing an update'

and read and followed the thread:

I was unable to complete step 3: "Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak" As it said it was in use.

I did complete all other steps.

I restarted the PC and retried Windows Update, and it downloads them, then fails again. Same error 0x80070643
