Windows 10: Bitlocker randomly blocked disk on windows 11

Yesterday i tried to turn on my msi gp66 and first time in my life heard of an app bitlocker. I am still amazed of the fact that bitlocker can just block your disk, never create a recovery key or notify you of importance of one. I checked for recovery key in my account - there is none. What is this secure boot policy that changed i do not know. Is there anything i can try other than deleting everything from my computer? I have little to no hope since i've seen a number of people with same issue and it is frustrating to know that it is still happening.

Bitlocker Randomly Enabled

Hi,

On my personal Lenovo laptop, Bitlocker somehow randomly was enabled. I have not enabled it, and I followed the recovery steps without luck. It seems that it was enabled during an update. I logged into my Microsoft account, see that the laptop is listed, but there is no bitlocker key listed. I am at a loss on what the next steps might be for me to be able to log into my computer at this point.

Yesterday, a Windows update froze and I can no longer boot the system (stops long before Windows starts loading). Now, it seems like the BitLocker encryption is messed up: with a USB installation tool, using the repair functionality, I enter the BitLocker
key, it accepts it but says it cannot unlock the disk. Neither can i reinstall cause the drive is blocked. I'm certain the key is correct as changing one digit tells me the key is wrong.

Suggestions?
