    Bitlocker recovery after new mother board installation


    HELP!!! I have a Lenovo Yoga that required a new motherboard installed since the computer wouldnt turn on. Its still under warranty so Lenovo sent a new motherboard and a technician to install it. After installation the blue screen asked for the bitlocker recovery key and the technician had no way of finding it. He told me to go into my MS account to get the key but its not there.

    Called MS support but can't talk to a human-they refer me to the website where I cannot find instructions to find the key either.


    The Lenovo support desk said they will send me a flashdrive to reset the Windows 10 system on the computer but I am trying to find a way to NOT wipe my entire computer.


    Can someone help me?

    Bitlocker recovery

    Hi my Dell laptop was fitted with a new mother board to fix an audio issue, however we have been asked for a bitlocker recovery key which doesn't seem to exist on my account. I don't recall activating this and there is nothing in my emails on the bitlocker
    application. Can I please have a call back to resolve this?

    Upgrading to a new mother board

    I purchased a prebuilt gaming PC.. I am going to be upgrading to a RTX 2080ti and adding more ram to it. eventually I am going to Dual 2080ti but my motherboard only supports 1 video card ASUS Prime B450. I am going to purchase a new mother board that supports
    multiple GPU's. My question is.. will I have to purchase a whole new version of windows for the new mother board?

    Replacing Mother Board

    I need to replace my mother board. I have purchased the identical replacement. I want replace the mother board and use the same old Processor. Processor is i7 6700K and the motherboard is ASUS Z170. Is it possible to replace the Mother board without re installing
    the Windows and software.
