Windows 10: Bitlocker recovery key does not show up in Microsoft account

I want to reset the Windows OS on my PC laptop. For this, I need to access its Bitlocker recovery key. However, although I know the login for the Microsoft account associated with the PC, no recovery keys are shown when I go to aka.ms/myrecoverykey. The PC is shown as a connected device for the account the serial number shown matches the one on my computer, so I seem to have the right account, but there is no recovery key shown.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

BitLocker recovery key

My computer is locked by BitLocker and the recovery key is not showing in the Microsoft account (the device is listed). How can I generate/retrieve the key (I don't have it stored anywhere)?

I did follow your suggestion but I can't get recovery key.

I got the below message.

You don't have any BitLocker recovery keys in your Microsoft account.

Next Step, What should I do?
