Windows 10: Bitlocker recovery key - for external hard desk

8 months ago I used WD my passport on my work laptop to store 14 years of data! since my previous employer mandates encryption I had to use bitlocker password. Since 2 months I have been trying to access he hard desk with no luck, I keep on getting the message "the password you entered is incorrect" although I am sure it's the right password! Moreover, I don't have the recovery key since I have lost access to my previous work laptop.


I have the key ID but I don't have the 48-digit recovery key to be able to access my data.

I got the below message.

You don't have any BitLocker recovery keys in your Microsoft account.
