Windows 10: bitlocker requiring key, letter keyboard frozen

Discus and support bitlocker requiring key, letter keyboard frozen in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; not sure how bitlocker works or why it is on computer. trying to enter the key ID but the letter keys are frozen...     not sure how bitlocker works or why it is on computer. trying to enter the key ID but the letter keys are frozen

    Keyboard choices, advice please

    Inb4 bumblebee and her massive rants on mechanical keyboards, YES IM GOING MECHANICAL.



    The current choice is the Razer Black widow ultimate.

    It has a list of things i really want.


    • Black keyboard
    • Blue LED
    • Mechanical switches
    • USB port
    • USB soundcard built in (for LAN use - not a neccesity)
    • Easy to use Macro keys
    • Standard key layout - i HATE keyboards where its altered, or the keys are a different size to normal.
    • Compact size - keyboards that are three feet wide due to 5 rows of G keys and 12 feet tall due to an LCD are out. this thing has to fit on cramped desks at LAN events.
    • Media Keys are a must
    Things i dont like
    • Price
    • Noisy keys - hell they advertise its as loud as a mouse click, that worries me. a lot.
    • Media keys are controlled through a Fn key. its ok, but i prefer dedicated keys.

    So, does anyone have any alternatives that i can buy in australia, that meet my requirements?


    edit: G19 is ruled out due to it requiring external power. so please dont suggest it. (yes, i know its not mechanical - but its a similar price range)

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your concern. It is good that you know the Bitlocker key to properly get into the computer. To help you turn off the Bitlocker key, you can follow the steps below:

    Please make sure you are signed as the Administrator of the computer.

    To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive


    • Click Start, click Control Panel, click
      System and Security      , and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

    • Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.

    • A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption. Click
      Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.

    To turn off BitLocker Drive Encryption


    • Click Start, click Control Panel, click
      System and Security      , and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.

    • Find the drive on which you want BitLocker Drive Encryption turned off, and click
      Turn Off BitLocker.

    • A message is displayed, informing you that the drive will be decrypted and that decryption may take some time. Click
      Decrypt the drive to continue and turn off BitLocker on the drive.
