Windows 10: Bitlocker start decryption by itself after the first reboot

Hello!The problem is within Windows 11.When I enable bitlocker on my PC it successfully encrypts my disk. Then I reboot my PC and bitlocker screen apears. Then I enter pin and log in successfully. And then bitlocker starts decrypting and disk becomes fully decrypted. Could you please tell me what could be the reason of such a behaviour?What I did: 1 I checked the disk for corruptions/errors with the following commands:sfc /scannowDISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthwsreset.exechkdsk D: /fit didn't helped no errors was detected2 Fully upgraded system to the least version.

@rinconmike For future reference, instead of using the TASK MANAGER to restart, you can simply hold CTRL + SHIFT and right click on blank space on the Task bar, to bring up 'Exit Explorer'. Another option is to use software.

Bitlocker Stuck Decrypting

As a BitLocker user myself, I can definitively say it has zero issues with SSD's. Nor has Microsoft listed any SSD drive issues. Also be aware BitLocker decryption is not an instantaneous process and can take anywhere between 20 minutes to a few hours depending on data and size of drive.

That said, drive decryption does not prevent normal use of drive.

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

1. Open the command prompt as admin.
   
2. Type in manage-bde –off <drive> and hit
   Enter.
   
   manage-bde –resume <drive>
   

manage-bde –on <drive>

Replace Drive by drive letter

1. Restart the computer and check the status of the issue
