Windows 10: BitLocker suddenly locked my laptop

I can not access to my Dell laptop anymore. Bitlocker is asking for password, but I do not have a password in my Microsoft Account. Please help to unlock my laptop Dell Latitude 7490

Bitlocker frequently locking computers

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately these suggestions don't really fit our needs. We want to use BitLocker and don't want to disable it. The problem we have is that it locks some of our computers from time to time. Ideally we will make use of BitLocker but not have it blocking our computers.

I have tried:

1. Turning off BitLocker
   
2. Installing all Driver and Windows Updates
   
3. Turning BitLocker back on again
   

Maybe this will help. We will wait and see.

 

Locked laptop, no password, Bitlocker locks the drive

A colleague expired recently and left his laptop (issued by the office) locked and Bitlocker locks the drive. We don't know what password he used and the Bitlocker recovery key. How can we reformat the laptop if there's no other way to access it?
