Windows 10: Bitlocker Window version is not compatible

I have 2 laptops. 1- Ideapad win 10 Home Activated 2- Thinkpad win 11 Home 22h2 22581.200 Beta Activated I removed SSD from 1st which had win10 installed and attached it to the 2nd laptop. then I removed it back to the original laptop. Then, on startup, it asked for BitLocker key, which I luckily found on my ms account. I have the same account on both devices.So I entered the key the View seems successful and the window was loaded. on the lock screen, I entered my window 4 digit pin but it was not working, It was giving some error. And there was no option for an Account password.

I have two partitions encrypted with BitLocker. One is OK and the other at opening gives me the message that BitLocker encryption is not compatible with the version of Windows that you have and try to open it with a newer version of Windows. Now I have Windows
10 pro. What can I do? I badly need the informations on that drive.

This could be due to some corruption in the system files, please check the methods below and see if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to start the BitLocker Device Encryption service.

Follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key + R from the Keyboard.
• Type services.msc and hit Enter.
• Search for BitLocker Device Encryption service.
• Double click on BitLocker Device Encryption service and click on
  Start button.
• Click on the dropdown list and set the Startup type to
  Automatic.

Method 2: Please try the steps provided in the given article.

Unlock a BitLocker-protected drive

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 3: Perform SFC scan

I would suggest you to perform SFC scan and check if that helps. The
sfc/scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. It is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore
corrupted files.
