    BitLocker’s Surprise Attack: My Data, My Drives – All Locked


    It started with what I thought would be a routine Windows update to version 24H2. I assumed it would be a simple process, but it turned into a nightmare. After the installation was completed, I found that my computer’s drives were automatically encrypted with BitLocker. This happened without any notification, warning, or my explicit permission.The most shocking part?The recovery key is nowhere to be found!Microsoft Account? No recovery key.Local Drive? No recovery key.USB? No recovery key.But how could I have a recovery key when I didn’t enable encryption in the first place?Now, I can’t access
