Windows 10: BITS service is stopping and going to manual

Is it normal that BITS service is going back to manual and stopping after the PC is starting? After like 15 minutes that the PC is on, at first it is fine as it is on Automatic Delayed Start, but after a while it going to manual and stops!I noticed that this causes problems to my PC. Windows Update - Service registration is missing or corrupt

Upon analyzing the details and the troubleshooting steps you have done so far, we suggest that you
manually reset your Windows Update Components
by following these
troubleshooting steps:

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator
  
• 
  Stop
  BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and Windows Update Services. To do this,
  type the following command:
  
  • 
    Net stop wuauserv
    
  • 
    Net stop cryptSvc
    
  • 
    Net stop bits
    
  • 
    Net stop msiserver
    
• 
  Rename
  SoftwareDistribution
  and
  Catroot2
  folder. To do this, type the following commands:
  
  • 
    Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
    
  • 
    Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
    
• 
  Restart
  BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and Windows Update Services. To do this,
  type the following command:
  
  • 
    Net start wuauserv
    
  • 
    Net start cryptSvc
    
  • 
    Net start bits
    
  • 
    Net start msiserver
    
• 
  Restart
  your computer and try to
  install Windows Update.

Problems with Wireless Service stopping every few minutes since CU4 yesterday

I understand how you feel when things does not work as expected, I apologize for the inconvenience. Will certainly assist you with your concern.

I suggest you to reset Windows Update components and then install the update manually.

Follow these steps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• Stop the BITS service, the Windows Update service, and the Cryptographic service. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.
  
  • net stop bits
  • net stop wuauserv
  • net stop appidsvc
  • net stop cryptsvc
• Rename the software distribution folders backup copies. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.
  
  • Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
  • Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
• Restart the BITS service, the Windows Update service, and the Cryptographic service. To do this, at a command prompt, type the following commands. Make sure that you press Enter after you type each command.
  • net start bits
  • net start wuauserv
  • net start appidsvc
  • net start cryptsvc

5. Restart your PC and check if it works this time when you try to update.

BITS service manual or automatic?

This below is the default setting for the BITS service, so it's fine to leave it on "Automatic".
