Windows 10: Bizarre system hang, seems to happen completely randomly

ROG B550F GamingRyzen 3 4100Gigabyte RX570This hang happens anywhere from 10 minutes after boot, to 6 hours after boot. Its bizarre in that everything looks normal, however apps stop fuctioning without "not responding" and windows basically does the same. All windows UI elements react normally like mouse hover etc, but clicking them does nothing, control+alt+delete does nothing. The only way to get out of it is to hold the power button or reset switch.Event viewer shows no patterns, SFC snannow no issues aswell as memory checker. Windows 10 Hanging Randomly

I'm getting a persistent hanging when playing games, that seems to occur randomly. The system will completely hang up and become unresponsive, and when it does this, more often than not it's accompanied by a loud, screeching static that is heard through the headphones or speakers (whatever audio device is plugged in.) Sometimes the audio just buzzes, and in some occasions, all connected USB devices like keyboard and mouse lose power all at once and do not get power when plugged back in. I've run through the bucket list of solutions I could think of, and none of them have alleviated these issues. I'm still not entirely sure if this is a software or hardware issue. So the strange thing is is that a week ago before a recent Windows Update these hangs started I had no issues whatsoever. I've had 14GB RAM (3x4GB + 1x2GB) for a year or two and I've never had any actual issues with my memory. Granted, some of my previous BSODs blamed memory management/memory corruption, but I've tested each RAM stick multiple times and all tests have passed with no issues. System integrity is sound, as per the results from sfc /scannow and check disk.

Driver Easy has been uninstalled.

SSD and External Drive F scanned with Chkdsk, reports nothing wrong. That being said, HD Tune does report my External Drive F with a temperature violation(?) and bad sectors. (But drive seems fine)

Computer Randomly Hangs; cannot run reset

I have been experiencing a number of issues with Windows 10. The computer randomly hangs up for 10 seconds or so. Since updates also would also not install, I ran the troubleshooter. Now I have resolved the update problem but the computer still randomly
hangs for several seconds across all apps. I tried to reset the computer, but when I click on the reset button, nothing happens.

I ran several malware programs and nothing was found by any of them.

How can I resolve the issue? I tried to follow the steps to run the system checker, but I cannot get the computer to display what the steps say should be displayed.

I have a HP Z Book running Windows 10.
